Overview
This short circuit pairs two very different parks. The Masai Mara gives you wide grasslands, predators and, from July to October, the migration herds. Lake Nakuru adds a fenced sanctuary where black and white rhinos are regularly seen, with flamingos and pelicans along the shore.
Itinerary
4 DaysNairobi to the Masai Mara
Pick-up in Nairobi and a scenic drive through the Rift Valley and Narok. After lunch at camp, visit a nearby Maasai village before settling in for the evening.
Lunch, dinnerMasai Mara game drives
A full day in the reserve with a picnic lunch, looking for the Big Five and staying out for sunset before returning to camp.

Drive north to Lake Nakuru National Park. After lunch, an afternoon game drive for rhinos, buffalo, flamingos and the park's rich birdlife.
